Description:
Lanthanated tungsten electrode, also known as lanthanum tungsten electrode, is a non-radioactive material with good welding performance. It can be primarily used for DC welding as well as AC welding. Lanthanum tungsten electrode has been the most popular alternative to 2% thoriated tungsten electrode in Europe and Japan.
Features:
1. Containing minimum 97.80% tungsten and 1.30% to 1.70% lanthanum, lanthanated tungsten electrode's electric conductivity is most closed to that of 2% thoriated tungsten electrode;
2. Lantuanum tungsten electrodes have excellent arc starting, low burn-off rate, good arc stability and excellent re-ignition characteristics;
3. No needing changing any operation process, the welder can directly use lanthanated tungsten electrode to replace thoriated tungsten electrode.
