Tungsten Rods
Description:
LTWM adopts high purity tungsten to manufacture tungsten rods. According to different impurity contents, tungsten rods can be divided into WAL1, WAL2, W1 and W2 designations. While on the basis of size, processing method or ground condition, they also can be divided into swaged tungsten rod, straightened tungsten rod, polished tungsten rod, etc.
Application:
1. Tungsten rods are suitable for producing ion implantation parts;
2. They are also used for producing electric light source parts and electric vacuum components;
3. They can be adopted to produce heating elements and refractory parts in high temperature furnaces;
4. Tungsten rods also can be used as electrodes in the rare-earth metal industry.

Specification:
Tungsten rods are frequently swaged to improve their strength, which results in swaged tungsten rods. After being swaged, tungsten rods will greatly enhance their tensile strength from 1050 MPa to 1200 MPa at least.
